Ghana’s Award-winning rapper Michael Owusu Addo with his stage name Sarkodie has dropped a new banger titled ‘Brown Paper Bag’ featuring Manifest but has issued a disclaimer for it
Sarkodie on his arrival from his long stay in abroad releases a new song which he features Manifest who is also a renowned artist in Ghana titled ‘Brown Paper Bag’.
Sarkodie after announcing the new song on his social media handles with the rollicking cover art which had President Nana Akufo-Addo, John Mahama, Donald Trump and some other world leaders featured on the back.
Sarkodie then issues a disavow on the remarks that has been attributed in the song. The disclaimer issued is to draw our attention to the fact that the words in his new song is just to address the economical status between Africans and the Europeans and that it is not directly to anyone or trying to Express bars on the beat but rather it is a wakeup call to all concerned citizens to wakeup from their slumber. In his Twitter post he said ” I understand Rap fans feeling the need to rate bars and lyrics on this record but on God this ain’t about all of that … we in serious times and the message is very important… “
