‘WHY’ has taken over the airwaves upon its released earlier this month. The single off Araba, Adina Thembi’s debut album is the type of tune you will expect from the Caribbean however this is a song brewed in Ghana from a Ghanaian pot by Ghanaian master musical brewers.

Multiple award winning, talented producer; Richie Mensah produced this Reggaeton masterpiece. The Lynx Entertainment founder displayed his versatility likewise Adina on this single. The love inspired song tells the tale of two lovers.  The single has topped radio charts and playlists since going viral and now the visuals for it has been shot.

The visuals are rather an offset of what one would expect of a typical Reggaeton song. Songs from this genre are usually tropical in nature when music videos are concerned but not this song. Adina Thembi and her team took a more Afro-urban retro direction something which gives viewers a glimpse of how things might have been in the days of Shabaranks. The colourful themed video featured iconic Ghanaian actor Van Vicker and was shot here in Accra.
